This is a novel take on an old devotion (Rosary!). I really enjoy "charging" it up during the day in a sunny spot and then seeing the lovely glow in the evening. The phosphorescence does generally fade to a very gentle glow after a couple of hours in a darkened room, but that's a good thing because a brightly glowing rosary on my nightstand would definitely keep me awake at night. The rosary seems pretty well made and I like the inclusion of the 2 extra medals. I took off a star because the corpus on the crucifix has a disproportionately large head, so it looks like a child, making it look a little bit strange. But that is a minor thing and doesn't detract from the uniqueness of this devotional item. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and how fast it arrived.
