*How Lampworking Glass Beads are Made: In order to make lamp Glass beads, the artist will use a torch to melt narrow rods of glass. The hot molten glass is then wound around a thin length of stainless steel known as a mandrel. The hole in the bead is formed by the space taken up by the mandrel. To form the bead, the mandrel is turned and held in various positions. The shape of the bead is formed through this turning and positioning, as well as with the help from gravity. Tools can also be used during this process to push and pull the glass into proper shape.

This rosary is incredibly beautiful!! The beads are gorgeous pale pink faceted glass beads with what appears to be inlaid rose images. Just stunning. The Crucifix is beautiful and the Centerpiece is too. It's a heart shaped centerpiece with the Divine Mercy image on one side and Medjugorje Mary image on the other side. Just beautiful! Thank you Mike at JMJ Blessed Beads. The purple floral glass beads are so beautiful and the quality of the workmanship is so well made. I truly love the Medjugorje and the Divine Mercy center, along with the beautiful filigree Crucifix. It makes this rosary so special. The Lt Purple Flower Glass Rosary I ordered from JMJ Blessed Beads just arrived - a couple days sooner than was expected. Yay! Needless to say, I am thrilled! This is now the second Flower Glass Rosary that I've purchased from Mike. (You can never have too many rosaries, especially those created by Mike!) I love purple so that adds to its beauty.) Today I also received the Pastel Pearl and Flower rosary, which I've reviewed below this review. Both rosaries come tucked inside black velvet and pink satin rosary pouches, respectively. Mike also provides fast customer service and will create special orders. A Holy Card was also enclosed. I just can't oooh and ahhh enough about Mike's talent and his creations.
